In a world driven by a constant impulse to control, hide, and silence our emotions, this piece reclaims the right to feel. The body emerges as a territory of life, memory, and expression—a body crossed by attempts at control, yet one that remains alive, yearning, and capable of overflowing. This is the very soul of Rio de Janeiro.
Brazil is built on abundance. It lives in the roots we carry, the human warmth, the dengo (our unique, tender affection), the lingering embrace, and the intensity of turning emotion into a language of survival. Despite all historical violence, we continue to find our own ways to exist, love, and feel. There is a deeply Brazilian courage in this movement: the courage to never give up.
